World Champion Garri Kasparov and Boris Kramnik had a blitz match in November, with 5 minutes/game. Here are their games.

Here are some Internet Games of the Week. They are generally speed games, so most tactics are rather easy to see- simple but entertaining.

The Hoogovens USA tournament, held in late November, was a round-robin event that included 6 GMs: Timman, Yermolinsky, Seirawan, Piket, VanWely, and Shaked. Timman and Yermolinsky tied for first. All their games are here.

Games from the1997 NY State Championship and the Walter Elwood Museum Open are now available. (Note: Players were not required to keep track of moves as their time neared the limit, 30 minutes, so later moves are missing.)

Here are a couple of cute games from GM Miguel Najdorf:
Glucksberg v Najdorf 1935
Najdorf v ? 1927-9?

Here are the games from the Kasparov - Deep Blue match.

Here are some games from John Morse, #6 on the local top 50 list. (Thanks, John.)
