Announcing BLANCHARD-L, a Genealogy Mail List
The BLANCHARD Family Genealogy List (BFGL) started at RMGate (Indiana Univ.)
and is now located at RootsWeb where it is called BLANCHARD-L.
BLANCHARD-L is a Genealogy Mail List for the exchange of information on families with the
BLANCHARD (and all name variants) surname, worldwide. Much of the current exchange
involves BLANCHARDs in England and North America but discussion of any and all lines is
welcome.
This Mail List operates in the usual fashion with command messages sent to the Listserver -request
address and messages for posting to subscribers sent to the List address. This is a "closed" list
which means that only subscribers to the list can post messages.
To subscribe, send an e-mail message to:
BLANCHARD-L-request@rootsweb.com with
Subject: (leave blank)
and subscribe as the only text on the first line of the message body.
Turn off "HTML" in your mail program and do not include a 'signature'.
When your request for subscription has been received, you will be sent a WELCOME Message
which describes how the List operates, including how to post messages to the List and how to unsubscribe.
When I receive notice of your subscription, I'll send a Greetings/Guidelines message.
If, after reviewing these messages, you still have questions, don't hesitate
to contact me.
