Grace Laureen (HAYDEN) BLANCHARD
is an 11th generation descendant
of William HAYDEN (c1605-1669).
William came to Dorchester, MA on the Mary & John from England in 1630.
He was one of the early settlers of Windsor, CT and Grace's line follows
his son Daniel whose g.g.grandson Moses was the first of six generations of
HAYDENS in the Sacandaga Valley counties of Saratoga and Fulton in New York
State. Grace and her three sisters represent the last of the HAYDENs in this
particular line.

Fletcher A. BLANCHARD, Jr.
is believed to be an 11th generation
descendant of Thomas BLANCHARD (c1600-1654).
Thomas came to Braintree, MA on the Jonathan from England in 1639 with his
four sons. His second wife and infant daughter both died on the voyage. He
settled in Charlestown, MA where he died. The line through his first son
[George>George>William>Abner? >?Asahel] may prove to be
Fletcher's once the Abner/Asahel connection is confirmed. Asahel is Fletcher's
g.g.g.grandfather and lived in VT and NY. Thomas' descendants migrated throughout
New England, New York and points west and south. Our two grandsons may someday
extend this BLANCHARD line.
